After I built up my baseline stockpile I reload what I shot before shooting that caliber again. Old military guns are fun to shoot. Yesterday was 9mm, last week .45 ACP, next week will be Swiss 7.5.

300 BO

6.5 Creedmoor
10mm
350 Legend
40 S&W
And in a week or two some 6.5 PRC as soon as I get the dies/brass

I couldn’t even fathom the amount of rounds I have reloaded this year.  Just 9mm and 556 have to be 10k each.  The other million cartridges I reload for maybe another 5k.  I’m so glad I bought around 200k primers at $20/1k. Now I’m buying as many primers as I can at $55/1k or less

This year so far about 2000 rounds of 45acp on my DSB I have had since 1993.

I have 357 and 44 magnum des here also

I moved most of my firearms, reloading presses, components and other gear to our house down south at the end of 2022.

I wish I had kept more. I left a pallet full of odds and ends bullets and.powder.

I had two one pound cans of 231 powder I bought in May of 1994.. They had the price sticker from a local gun store of 16.64. I found out I could buy 8lbs for less than half of that a pound at the Westerner Club. I bought 5000packs of primers too as my sister was an employee then

The 45acpbullets where some odd 225 gr flat point from Bull-X at a gun show the guy didn't want to pack up.

I bought and picked up directly from a guy who worked for Bull-X 200 gr swc and 225 fp that was different. I still have tons of those

I have dies for around 80 calibers. Most are Redding or Forester. I have some I never used because the guy at the gun show walking around took 20 bucks.

My son here has started shooting 8mm,7.62x39,7.62x54 and I have my 6.5x55.

I'm thinking of getting a Lyman 8 hole turret for up her to do rifle stuff on

Ordered 9 mm SDB dies. I never used it for that

I load a decent amount of .357 for wheel guns and lever guns. It's a fun caliber to customize.

I need to start on some 303 Brit. That got crazy expensive to buy and I have a fair amount of components.

I need to get busy. I just don’t really like reloading so I only do it when I have to.

260Rem and 308Win are always happening as I shoot up the match ammo in my bolt guns.

I have to start loading 6.5G since I just built a rifle. I have everything to do I but I just need to do it.

I did actually count .264 bullets the other day and I apparently have 15K of them…oops.

ETA: I have 10K of these 150gr 308 pulls from American Reloading now for 300BLK. At 9.6 cents each it was hard to say no.

I have some 10mm I need to get to. I also need to get to about 100 .308 subs that I wish I had Trail Boss for.  I shot about 30 50BMG's a few months ago that I need to replace.  I gave my son 200 5.56 reloads when he was visiting recently so I should get the tumbler out for that too. Not sure I'll get to all of that this year. All in all I have about 500 rounds of various calibers that I need to load up.

I'm reloading 50 to 100 rounds at a time of 9mm. I am using IMR Target powder that I bought for $24.99 in 2021. I reload either Hornady HAP or Hornady XTP bullets. Both are very accurate. These reloads are for bullseye shooting, not any kind of action shooting. I reloaded .44 Magnum and .357 over the winter for my Marlin 1894 rifles.

Just 300 Norma for some ELR matches. Finding large rifle magnum primers is near impossible though.

Haven’t been able to get my hands on Federal 215M gold metal match primers in over 3 years of looking. Unless I want to pay nearly $40.00 for a 100.

Interesting, had not seen that before.  Though the last new powder dropper I saw was the Supertrickler and everything as a complete kit was like $1,700 ish. (ST101 Gen2 + FZ-120i)

I didn't watch the complete video, so if a price was listed I missed it.  I will probably research this later.

As a note I have both an Autotricker V3 and V4...

Not sure if he made any comparisons either.

I have totally failed on reloading, when you don't get to the range that much the desire is lacking you might say.  I have been trying to build my garage for 2 years, between contractors bailing out and then now the city being a clusterfuck in the permit department....my reloading bench and safe are covered with BS that should be in my garage.....

I hope to have my garage in the next couple months....of course I though I would have had it back in Jan so take that timeline with a grain of salt.  Once that happens maybe my replacement weed eater parts and other BS won't be there.

I might buy another press for the guns someone might shoot at a PRS match, I only say someone because that someone ain't currently me.  I haven't done enough shooting in the past few years to keep up any currency.  I might as well be someone that never touched a gun......  I would be lucky to have an MOA of "minute of barn."

I might grab a Nexus press from SAC for this, I have several of their dies already.

$995 for the complete system without the scale. You can reuse the AD FX-120 scale that came with your V3.
$790 for just the dropper with electronics. This option is for when you already have the IP trickler and just want to add the powder dropper.

I'm currently using the V3 dropper with the IP trickler. Together it performs very well. The main reason I'm upgrading to the IP dropper is for the new controller that comes with it. This makes it accurate down to the kernel of powder (for non ball powders).

I have dies for .300blk, .223, .380, 10mm/.40, and 9mm.
I make about 150 9mm rounds every week or 2 on my XL750.
Just what I burn at the range.
I have lots of factory ammo stored so Im not trying to build stock up.

Yes I could make 1000 at a time but by doing this I stay proficient on the process.
Plus I lose interest quickly so it helps to break it up.

I reloaded about 250 rounds of 38sp in my single stage press a few months ago.  I don't have a good space to do it, so I have to lug everything out each time I do it.  I don't shoot or reload large volumes but it's nice to know have the supplies and ability to reload a few hundred rounds of whatever calibers I have.

The only caliber I shoot that I don't reload for is 7.62x39

Dead soft lead is preferred when shooting muzzleloaders. If casting for cap and ball revolvers it's especially desired because seating harder lead balls can be more difficult.

Winchester's original bullets for .44-40 were pure lead.

It's also good for bullets to be shot in revolver cartridges like .32 S&W Long or .38 Special, if you're not driving them too hard. For example the .358 bullets I posted upthread are very soft, though not pure lead. I added some tin via some old cast bullets that I didn't need. A little tin in the mix helps the lead fill out the mold better. The bullets I cast in that session are still soft enough to scratch with my thumbnail, however.

Proper size is more important than hardness in preventing leading. For example, cast bullets that are too small allow gas blow-by which causes leading.

I have not loaded much in the past few years outside of revolver rounds like .38 Special .44 Special/Magnum and .45 Colt. Maybe a few rounds of .223 with 77 grain bullets to test out a barrel.

I have over 3 dozens die sets and plenty of components. But I just don't reload as much as I use to.

Maybe I will get around to loading some oddball stuff this year like 7.7 Jap or 7.5 French.

300 BO because i've run my stash of subs down
7mm Mag and 6.5 Grendel for hunting ammo
223 if I feel like it but don't have need currently

I tend to boom or bust fixation on things like reloading.  I might spend a couple months reloading thousands of rounds and then not again for a year or more until I get a new itch/caliber/rifle or dwindle on a particular load.

Iv found two great deals on used 7mm rem mag rifles at the pawn shop, ones a 1996 winchester model 70 matte finish/ synthetic for $400 and a matte finish / synthetic browning a-bolt with leupold scope for $600.00. Put both on layaway back in january,  pick them up around October to get ready for gun season, this pawn shop doesn't care if you take 2 years to pick up layaways,  long as you pay at least $10.00 a month its fine, and let's you put $25.00 down to hold even $1000.00 items,  so it's a great purchase option when moneys tight, or your not in a hurry to get said item.

My new elk rifles. iv already got better scopes at home waiting for them.

Detachable magazine Winchester?  I used to have one of those in 300.  I wish I'd hung on to it as it was the first rifle I ever bought with my own money, but got convinced by the internet that push feeds sucked.
