Those with Krogers nearby, check your weekly ads. $1.99/lb here. I’m headed to buy 10 in the morning. I have all of them sold already.

I just asked about Brisket 2 days ago at the Food city near me……$9.99 a lb …….
Walmart has packer Brisket all the time for $3.99. Closest Kroger is down in N. GA, about an hour from here. I'm going to check to see if they have these at $1.99…if so, I'll make the drive and pick up a few. Thanks for the heads up OP |

Great price. Still $4.99/lb here.
|
|
|
[#17]
I’ll check into that.
I make a more or less weekly run to Kroger anyway. Their whipping cream is thicker than other brands and they usually have a $5 coupon on the back of their receipts, good at the feed store in town. |

Around here one goes to Kroger to get robbed. Literally.
|

No Kroger near me, unfortunately. That is a great price. It's normally $4/lb at costco/sams but has a huge fat cap.

I was at Walmart yesterday doing some grocery shopping. They're like $3.99/lbs for choice there. $1.99/lbs is a good deal.

Even the crappy looking ones make a pretty good jerky... it's too fatty to keep long, so more of a meat snack stick than jerky per se, but still awesome. |

Those that do have Kroger, download the app and watch it each week. They run them multiple times a year at the 1.99 price. Mine are sometimes 2.99 like you guys are seeing, and even up to 7.99. But at random times they will hit the sale paper at the 1.99 price.
|
|

When you say you have them sold already I am curious how much are you selling them for after you smoke them?

$5.99 here.

I have seen it at 2.99 locally maybe a few years ago at 1.99. I haven’t seen a sale on pork shoulder for. 99 cents in probably 2 years at Kroger. .88 cents since before Covid. Honestly just want to process some myself.
Shit the cow tongue went from 3.69$ to 9.50$ a lb at Walmart. Everything is considered a prime cut these days. |
