The most talked about movie in GD for years, and you found nothing?
 It was a great movie, one of the best I've seen this year. Really great sound design for the gunfights, I jumped several times when guns were being fired. The end assault on DC was so intense. |

I found the assault on DC fascinating. I wondered intensely exactly what position the female staffer was that was riding in the 2nd beast as they tried escape that was cut down by western forces as she said don’t shoot after coming out if the limo with her hands up. I also wondered who were the personnel that killed them selves and were found in the entry way of the White House were. It was very reminiscent of Downfall and I think it would be interesting to see the last days in a Similar movie or story.

The premise of following journalists, gives a nod to the notion journalists represent the "in-between" or balanced objective center - Which of course is never true, they are architects of civil war, kind of always have been.
Media creates civil war in a Munchhausen by proxy like process, they create it then report on it "objectively" I wish someone would make a good film or documentary on how this has been done repeatedly to get any nation into war and "report" on it. |

It was okay. While the president had parallels to Trump most of the movie was just about imaging the US as falling into a third world style civil war where everyone become a murderous savage, except reporters
