These are normally $18 or $20 (possibly more) for 4 pairs. My local Costco has them marked at $4.97 today. Weird is that it's not marked as a "sale" item. Just priced lower.

Yeah. They are not online. The Harrisburg PA store had at least a few display boxes of them in stock as of an hour ago. I might go back tomorrow to get some more.

FYI: My local Costco (Harrisburg) still had some of these today. I picked up 4 more packs. As I was checking out, a Costco employee saw them in my cart an started up a conversation about how this is one of the best deals she's seen working there.

When I wore boots for a living it was Wigwam or Smartwool. I don't remember many other brands being worth a shit. That was 15 years ago though.

With that out of the way, the socks used to be made in the US with US materials and they were in the 65% wool range. IIRC they were made by Fox River at one point. The socks still hold up well but they aren't what they used to be. Still a solid buy at the normal price 4/$15 and with a sale price in the $5-$7 range they are a fantastic deal. Buy cheap and stack deep. |
