These are normally $18 or $20 (possibly more) for 4 pairs.  My local Costco has them marked at $4.97 today.  Weird is that it's not marked as a "sale" item.  Just priced lower.

Interesting.  I did not know that pricing structure.

They are nice socks at $4-5 per pair.  They are fantastic socks at $1.25 a pair.

Yeah.  They are not online.  The Harrisburg PA store had at least a few display boxes of them in stock as of an hour ago.   I might go back tomorrow to get some more.

Great buy, I'd clean out the store at that price.

If they are the same quality as Sams, they hold up quite well.

FYI: My local Costco (Harrisburg) still had some of these today.  I picked up 4 more packs.  As I was checking out, a Costco employee saw them in my cart an started up a conversation about how this is one of the best deals she's seen working there.

I always wear merino socks if I can.

What’s the % of merino in these? That’s the key. If it isn’t at least 65% then I don’t wear them.

.97 means it’s not coming back and they want it gone.

Just 1? Stop being poor. I usually buy at LEAST 1 of each (they only carry 2 flavors at my local Costco). I also still have some left from where I bought the variety pack directly from Conecuh a while back.

I just got back from visiting my brother in Gulf Shores. I had to stop by Conecuh and stock up.

I have a bunch of red head thick socks that work quite well.

Free for 8 pairs is a pretty good deal. They are quite warm, so far they are holding up well.

Wow. I'd have to question the build quality and quality of merino at that price. I buy nothing but Darn Tough, made in Vermont @ $22/ pair. BUT, worth a try!

I am rough on socks, extremely rough, 6-9 miles a day outside (mud and rain) and they hold up well especially for the price. I have about 40 pairs in my rotation currently. With that out of the way, the socks used to be made in the US with US materials and they were in the 65% wool range. IIRC they were made by Fox River at one point. The socks still hold up well but they aren't what they used to be. Still a solid buy at the normal price 4/$15 and with a sale price in the $5-$7 range they are a fantastic deal. Buy cheap and stack deep.

Darn tough, farm to feet and ascend(t?) Make Merino wool socks in the USA. All three have a warranty but I always feel like a tool bag when I start filling out the warranty form and don't do it.

I get 4-5 years out of a pair and I don't feel like it's right to ask a company to replace a pair of socks after 4 years. Lol
