They somehow made it worse. It's got a rubber coating to it now.

RIP my back

The ones at my hospital could fold out into a bed.  Ask the nurses for the bedsheets, pillows and blanket.  They really don’t have anything to do in between contractions anyway.

Yeah this one folded out from a semi-solid to a soft solid. I slept for maybe 45 minutes and I can tell I fucked my back up, there's a pinch between my shoulder blades

When our granddaughter was born she had her in a pool and was home in eight hours.

Same for our grandson.

Wife however had to get every baby cut out of her. Last kid we pushed back his birth a week so my son could make his first skydive at 16.

Their birthdays are one week apart.

Good luck OP and congrats

Congrats y’all! My oldest daughter is in college now… time flies. Enjoy every minute you can, and don’t show your temper at the small stuff if you can prevent it. That’s my advice…
Thanks for the laughs all!

TriggerPoint Grid foam roller is like magic for fucked up mid to upper backs. It'll kick your ass, but it's awesome. I get a pinched or cramped anything and roll it, boom! Gone.

I ordered a pizza on day 3 of our hospital stay after the birth of our daughter.  Wife was PISSED at me because the Dr said she could only eat what they put on the list.  Hospital food sucks.  Joke was on me because after our daughter had one of those nasty shits (1st time i'd ever seen it) I completely lost my appetite.

it went like this as I looked disgusted and closed the pizza box:

Wife: why are you grossed out?  You gut deer and fish with your bare hands!
Me:  that's different. . .

After a couple months of changing diapers nothing grosses you out anymore.

I do hope your wife recognizes the sacrafice you made to see that your child was delivered safely.  If she doesn't do that in the next day or so, make sure you point that out to her.

You should buy her a gift when she gets home.

A new Shark Rotator vacuum should fit the bill.

She almost passed out and the midwife was like please get the epi. Wife said this is way worse than our first. Sge was very upset about calling it. I told her she didn't give up, she is still fighting with tools to help. She's not happy about it but she's getting some much needed shuteye.

I got shot in the hand as a teenager, I begged for a nerve block My wife's a warrior.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I do really like Oliver as a name. Wish we had though of it. My great great grandfather, fought in WW1, his name was Harold. Just an incredible man. Lost his arm and leg from an artillery direct hit. Laid in the field for 2 days waiting for rescue. Came home. Built a farm, orchard, and barn with one arm and leg. And tools he could attach to his prosthetic. Raised a whole family selling pecans and almonds in California.

Shepherd will be raised to be a brave, honest man. Like his grand- and great-grandfather. Our house is full of love and the love of God.

Any time, boys. Any time now.

Let's roll.

Glad she's got some rest, I'm sure the little man is now here and healthy.

I like the name Shepherd, great choice.

Have you discussed her exercise and diet plan yet? These things must be established before leaving the hospital. See other thread.
