I never opt in on that crap

If it doesn't get delivered it's not my fault. UPS and PSA will have to figure it out.

Nope. They’re a retailer not a private seller. That shit don’t show up it’s on them not me. I’ll dispute that CC charge faster than an Ethiopian running for the all you can eat buffet.

It’s the SH4. I got it for super cheap during one of their sales a couple years ago. It was $290…I don’t remember. It it a little heavy (compared to my Leupold MK 6 that was 6x the cost) and the windage and elevation knobs are almost comically oversized, but it zeroes easily and tracks well. I had it on a CZ 455 Varmint for a while as a cheap trainer before I moved it onto this SPR. Zero issues on either. Not terrible for a couple hundred dollar optic. I also just bought a Vortex Strike Eagle 3-18x to try out. Should be a nice comparison.

I’ve got 1200 coming. As long as I am at 1.5moa or under with these I’ll be happy. We were shooting at 600 with 55gr fmj and it was a bit breezy and they got pushed off the 8” steel if I didn’t pay attention to the gusts. Less wind input is better.

I haven't tested any AAC NAS3 but I have done badlands. It was pushing the same velocities as black hills and faster than many other loadings. I was a little disappointed but intended to test these as well later this year

The AAC NAS3 is the same velocity as their regular OTM, don't waste your money on it.

This stuff shoots fairly well. Getting a few rando fliers but I’ll withhold judgement until I get a better trigger installed. It’s wearing a gritty Colt USGI trigger currently. 50 yds (limit of my back yard) with the AAC 77gr house brand projectiles.

I’m just wondering if primer pockets are tight enough and necks aren’t thin. Pressure is up there.

Ammo Inc was making brass for PSA but sounds like it’s in-house now?

Just got my 77gr OTM order!  Can’t wait to run some of it through my rifles.

Good on PSA for shipping it out fast…It took a bit to get to me, due to a UPS delay.  Whoever packed my 75gr needs to train whoever packed my 77gr., lol.  I can’t believe there wasn’t loose ammo everywhere!

Are ya’ll buying this ammo for range training, shooting matches, or SD/HD, mainly?

I’ve got some 75gr and just got some 77gr…I need to get out and shoot more of each.  Trying to decide if I should stack the 77gr or 75gr for SD/HD purposes.

I have been picking some of this up just about every time it goes on sale for 55 cents per round and I have been shooting it since it originally came out. I have found that the standard deviation is usually between 11 to 20 FPS. It all shoots pretty hot too, but not overly hot.

Here are the groups it shot today. My JP barrel and my WOA barrel do okay with it, but my Criterion is an absolute tack driver with it. I am far from being good at shooting groups, but here is what I got. All shots from a sandbag on a bench. Chrono data was from a Garmin Xero. All rifles have a 200 yard zero. I dialed the 18 inch rifle down 1.5 MOA when I shot it at 100.

I just had a case rupture with this 77gr OTM.
Lot # SCL1CK131
Ordered on 11/21/2023

I'd load a picture, but arfcom still sucks for that. (I'll email to someone if they want to upload it)

It's about a 1/2" vertical crack about 4mm from the rim to almost the middle of the case.

Shooting in a Hawk Hill barrel bolt gun chambered in 223 Wylde.
Been Shooting 5.56 75/77gr loads for 425rnds with no pressure signs.
Have shot a good deal of AAC 75 and both 77gr loads through this gun. All from same early lots.

No chrony, but I was shooting groups at 100yds and it didn't produce a flier. ( I have had a few fliers with the early lot 77gr SMK load)

https://freeimage.host/i/JbzrVHP

Looking at all the cases from that 5 shot string, I found this one which appears to maybe be almost split? Or maybe it was fired after the split case and just picked up fouling from the chamber...

Basically bulletproof but expensive

Cheap but if you hit the flasher, it's toast

I only ordered the 75gr BTHP earlier in the year. (March 2023) I thought I had gotten some of the 77s also, but that was incorrect.

So not as old as I thought. Anyone know when the 77gr OTM came out? (Looks like maybe they were all released early 2023?)

I have not contacted them yet, but assume they will ask that I mail what I have from that lot # back (only have 5 boxes left, and it's a pain to mail ammo).
Theyll likely replace it with a newer lot.

Will it make a difference? I dunno.

I have an AAC 77gn round that had some kind of brass abnormality.  Like there was a void in the brass when it was getting formed.

It would probably be safe to fire but I decided not to load it.

I would say check your brass on the early lots. Has not turned me off to the product though, still buying.
