I have been looking forward to this for a while and its here.  I ordered 600 rounds of the saber blade black tip.  I am hoping this will be a good deer round.

I’ve got 300 ordered. I really only have a krink and one 7.62X39 AR these days, and really only shoot the AR, but I’m curious to see how it goes. I don’t doubt the round will perform well terminally, so hopefully it can outshoot my stash of soft points and SSTs I’ll be comparing it against.

How much was the 122gr FMJ when it was in stock?

The Saber black tip is $0.55 a round.  No fmj yet best I can find.

The SBBT was getting some nice expansion at even the 10" when I ran my test. 200 rounds (100 of FMJ and 100 of the SBBT) and I had 1 pierced primer in the BRN-180S and 1 in the SKS. The BRN does have an extra power hammer spring.

I just ordered a couple hundred rounds to try out. Seeing that they released these kinda ticked me off. I had an AR in 7.62x39 and a Ruger American Ranch companion rifle that shot Wolf HP to MOA. When I got down to my last 1k rounds of wolf, I rebarreled my AR to 300BO and stocked up on ammo for that, planning to save the wolf for the bolt gun.

Then I get on PSA's site and see these.  Pfft.  If they shoot well, I'm gonna throw the 7.62 barrel back on the AR and ditch the 300BO when I run out of that ammo.

I shot some from my 10.5 Faxon today. It groups 5 into about 2” @ 100. For reference I can get PPU or S&B down into 1.5” or so.
