Anyone know the inch pounds torque setting for a Somogear PEQ 15 mounting bolt? Thanks.

I torque the mounting bolt on my real PEQ-15s to 25 inch Pounds. Try about 20 and see if it holds. I'm not sure if the Somogear stuff is as rigid as the material real PEQ-15s are made of, and too much force could cause the polymer side of the rail Graber to break.

I'm sure its not the same material, I'll go to 20 and check it. Thanks

Does the real Peq have a torque spec published, or is this just what's worked well ?

I was going to mention this. I don't remember reading a specific torque.

10 inch pounds or finger tight with blue locking compound would do fine. Probably shouldn’t leave it on a center fire rifle in use any longer than necessary.

It doesn't. The manual says something to the effect of 1/4 turn after snug.

I've always used 25 inch Pounds and they stay put tho.
