1st go buy yourself an AZ E-Z fletch. You will thank me for this. They are pretty much idiot proof. You can get with straight or helical fletching. I chose helical
2nd goat tuff or any of the archery glues are good choices
3rd Acetone cleans off glue, using it to clean the fletching tool. (I have a coffee can full of it I use to soak my fletching tool in to clean it up)
You should also consider getting an fletching removal tool. mine is worth its weight in gold.
all of my arrows are fletched identically. I prefer buying bare shafts, but sometimes it is cheaper to get them fully cut and assembled - then I thrip off the fletching and put my fletching on.
my hunting and target arrows are identical.
