Here goes. Through horse trading/Work swap I ended up with a Mathews bow. To prove my lack I dont even know what modle it is. Was said to be about an 06 to 08 year. It is set to 65 lbs Has a drop away rest and a sight. The bow shoots great. Just wondering what the wear points are. String life cams ETC. Before anyone asks what I paided Ill tell you now that im sure I got the short end of the deal. But It was better than the nothing i was getting in the form of cash. But maybe not this thing is a lot of fun to shoot

What model did you get.
Strings almost always need replaced, rub some pantyhose over the limbs to check for splinters, and enjoy! 
If the string looks otherwise good, check the serving on it around the cam for excessive wear. Usually one of the worst spots. |
