Not really… There was a guy that used to make fantastic repro slings for Mauser rifles that made one for a Chilean Modelo 1912 for me… Best repro sling I’ve ever seen. I contacted him about making one for a K98 I picked up about 5 years ago and unfortunately by that time he had retired.

That would be pretty easy: thread the front of the BFG sling into the front stock band/sling mount. As for the rear, fashioning a Mauser-style keeper that is held in the stock cutout could be done from a variety of materials. If you don't want to do that, I like the U-Loop. Might work for your application.

Similar train of thought! I have spare U-loops. Also considered sewing on a mauser-style keeper to one end.
Will play with it next week when it gets here!
