There are a ton of hunting rifles being sold in the states that have recently allowed straightwall cartridges for deer hunting. If they could relaunch the Compass or something similar in 350 Legend, 400 Legend, 450 Bushmaster they could capitalize rapidly on that market. It won't last forever as the initial buying frenzy will be over in a couple more seasons.
A compact/short bolt action for AR15 length cartridges would be good. Encore in similar choice in calibers would also be a good start. Or Contender really. |

Related question, if you had barrels in the following
Group 1 .17 Remington .22 jet .22 Hornet .222 Group 2 7mm TCU 7-30 Waters 6.5 TCU .35 Rem 30-30 Which would you keep? I have reloading components for all. Seems to be a lot of overlap. |

Still have my T/C Renegade .54 cal that I bought in the old Woolco(Wolworth) store back in the late 70's. That is a deer killing machine with the poly patched .54 roundballs and 90 gr of Pyrodex or Triple 7 powder. I think it puts the deer down just as hard as my 30-06. That double trigger is fantasticly light when you set it.
