Seriously..
They're out everywhere, and have been for at least two months. I picked up a used Compact (one mag), and put a back in stock alert with Lanbo's. I've gotten two emalis, one at 11:27 PM on 1/14 that was OOS by 6 AM 1/15, and the last today 12:17 PM, that lasted literally 5 minutes (I saw the last one go, didn't want to pay $10 shipping for one mag). What gives? |

With CZ recently coming out with their Shadow 2 Compact and Dan Wesson with it's DWX Compact, I suspect people are stocking up on magazines.

View Quote Honestly, I'm surprised no one's making a spacer for compacts to fit over full size 17+ rounders... seems like a 3D printing opportunity. I was using my SP-01 mags to proof the spring kit I put in the used Compact. |

This is a fullsize MecGar 17 in my Compact- usable, but kind of "extendo-ghetto": |

Got a little gap still like yours, i've been thinking about putting up a thread in the 3D printing sub-forum about making some baseplates that snug up better, bet somebody could sell a ton of 'em, only needs to be about 1/8th" longer at the top to close the gap. |

Got mine years ago from Greg Cote. Originally Posted By Dragynn: Ditto, doing the same in the wife's Canik C100, but one of the mags is actually a 17 rounder, OEM mag from my 80's TA-90. Those 16 round steel (full sized mags.) with the extended (upwards) bases came in the box with the Urban Gray P01 Omega SR models. I bought more and used them on my black P01 Omega also.

Greg Cote is awesome, bought all my spare mags from him over the years. |

Have been finding the same with limited availability. Called CZ out of curiosity. Gentleman told me "we are recommending you just buy the Mec-Gar. They make ours and we don't expect any factory ones anytime soon." I have placed 2 in my rotation and have had zero issues.

I bought a bunch of MecGars from Greg Cote.
Then I had to buy a bunch of DWX Compact baseplates from Henning. |

Necro Post!
I've resorted to buying the extensions from Greg Cote and 16 round MecGar magazines. So far, I've managed to purchase 6 in the past 2 months. |

View Quote Eeyup. After I bought some of Greg's now OOS 15 rd compacts, I did the same when the SP01 bases came back in stock. 16 round for standard CZ75s were a little easier to find, and the baseplates match up great. Plus one round, so win-win. |
