I’ll be in town this weekend for a funeral unfortunately and figured we would take my son to the zoo as one bit of enjoyment while in the area. I haven’t been to this area of New Orleans in close to 15 years but I know everything surrounding it has gotten worse and worse since I left.

How’s the parking for the zoo and are there metal detectors to get in? Anything else worth seeing between that area and Biloxi? We will only be there for two days.
