So what is going on with the current Unicameral session involving guns, knives, or 2nd Amenment?

Stand your ground
Automatic knives made legal for everyone
No concealed carry license required
No more local jurisdictions usurping the authority of the state

Debate lasted all day.
I heard the ugly word filibuster on the radio report.
Does it have 30 yes votes?

So what are the chances of Nebraska getting constitutional carry anytime in the near future?

Constitutional Carry is dead.
Codifying something that is guaranteed in the Constitution has never seemed right to me.
To deny someone the right to defend themselves over $250 [fee + class] is not right.

I sent an email to my state rep [who voted yes] and thanked him.
I sent an email to Sen Brewer and thanked him as well and told him my expectation is that this is reintroduced next year.
