I ordered a SWFA 1-6 SS HD scope from SWFA during the Black Friday sale. I've been wanting one and the sale price was too good to pass on.

Well, the next day I received an email saying that the scope was back ordered (probably because of the sale). I replied back saying I would wait for it. I also asked for an approximate date that I could expect it.

Customer service replied back saying that they were looking at two to three weeks. That was fine with me as I knew the scope would be worth the wait.

Imagine my very pleasant surprise when I received an email a few days later saying the scope was in stock and that I should keep an eye out for a tracking number (which came the same day).

I was ecstatic that the scope was on it's way and I was even more so when it arrived today.

The scope is utterly amazing, but I'm not telling anyone who knows SWFA products anything new.

The reason why I wanted to post is not to state the obvious of SWFA HD scopes are utterly amazing, but rather to give credit where credit is due.

Michael, the customer service rep, kept me in the loop every step of the way even during the post Black Friday rush.

Yes, the inventory tracking could be better as mentioned below, but when you have great customer service like SWFA does, oversights like the software don't seem to matter as much.

They have earned a dedicated customer in me and I wish to thank Michael and SWFA one more time for the exceptional customer service and truly amazing scope.

Let me contrast your experience with my own. I purchased a lower during their black Friday sale. I had my local gun shop's FFL information to them Monday. It took until Wednesday to find out it was back ordered, and I did not even get an email notification. The way I found out was by checking the order status on their website. I will say they've answered my emails but I haven't experienced them trying to keep me informed. From what I can tell on their website, the status of my order changed yesterday so it appears they may be back in stock again. But, today came and went and I did not hear anything from them and the status on their website went unchanged today. The wait is ok with me...I'm in the process of my very first build and it's going to take me a while to collect everything for my build, and their price was the best I can find. But, in the age we live in and with how many suppliers there are to choose from, my customer service experience hasn't been great and it will make me think twice about who I order from next time.
