Fellow hunter asked about N140 for his muzzleloader. The powder he was using is no longer made from many years back. Has anyone used N140 in a muzzleloader for hunting. What other powders are there in the same burn rate. Looking for something you can find at cabelas, basspro or maybe loacal shop. He isnt big on using the internet lol. He says its super clean burning and if it works i may switch from 3 pellets of trip7

Mo smokeless powders with the exception of the gun made by Savage a few years back, and only with the gunpowders and charge weights specified by Savage.
Or, the guy should fool with muzzleloading firearms unless he wants to get hurt. It's okay for anyone nearby to punch him in the throat if he fires the gun with smokeless gunpowder. |
