Need some ideas where to start. I would like a bullet that is a good hunting round, I think maybe a 250 amax.

I'm not a hunter, but I've had my 1:12" TRG-42 since 1/06 and it like 88.5gr-90gr if H-4831SC under 250gr SMKs and Scenars.

I have used Berger 300s and Hornady 285s on elk. Works well. Breaks bones and give exit wounds.
I am using Retumbo and Lapua brass. I am shooting it in an AI-PSR, but its still just a 338. |
