Freshly assembled Daniel Defense 12.5" barrel. Next step is to test fire with the YHM suppressor gas block. I believe it will cycle fine with the can, but likely not enough gas without it as the gas port in the block is only 0.054" so it'll take some tuning to get it right. View Quote Attached File |

The x42 is really comfy to sit behind tho |

Not a lot of time today. Took my 12.5 out to 500 with a 15 MPH crosswind. Easy hits on c zone steel with AAC 77OTM. Even did pretty well on the 6” swinger

I might be nuts but is it possible that thing could be too short? Almost could use an Aimpoint 30mm mount with a single ring, lol. Li'l stubby boi.

View Quote Shape of the lenses is going to be more extreme than scopes with longer tubes… more extreme curvature on the lenses with tube size that’s no larger is going to have an impact on light transmission eye box and image quality all things being equal… that being said I’m not a optical savant and I’m sure they balanced the pros/cons based on what the contract required… |

My 14.5” 6.5G.
Second iteration for this build. First go was an 18” barrel. After suppressor approval I had to go shorter. Pin/weld by Justin Thomas. Barrel is a Lilja from Six Sigma Arms. Unfortunately I haven’t had enough time to get out and really test it past break in. G Sorry for no big image. Imgurs not working. I’ll post my 5.56 build next. I don’t have a picture with its latest dedicated suppressor approval. |

The only downside is that I only have two rail sections for it, I would prefer to have three of the short sections but that's life. It's too bad that Geissele quit making the actual 13 inch length rails, I have a 13.5 in MK8 and a MK16 and I really like them, but they're not conducive to a 13.9 in barrel if a suppressor is to be used. I do like how this upper turned out as it shoots fairly accurate with the BA 13.9 Hanson barrel. |

I've got my medium RAS upper in the EE if anyone is looking.

It has held up really well The sling is a Flatline Fiber Co padded in ranger & coyote. Quickly has become my favorite sling but I need more miles on it to see how the padding holds up. |

My goal is to get an ultra accurate 15.1" 6arc barrel, and have it profiled for an AEM collar, and order an AEM 5 30k can. Otter Creek Labs is developing an OCM-6 can, but won't be available for about a year or so. So gonna go AEM until then |
