This started off as a general JSOC thread but it's quickly become nothing more than talking about the Noveske Navy, so let's just dedicate it to that.

Anyone seen a FDE Tango Down BG16 in the wild?

Wonder if they are gonna start using the Tmags with these rifles.

Accuracy seemed to improve once a carbon seal developed on the mount. It shrunk my ~1.75 10-shot groups to around 1.5. (BH 77gr Tmk/Otm) Would be cool to see someone's result with 70gr. |

I'm by no means a great shot but that SS barrel is laser beam accurate. |

Heads up - 3rd gen upper receivers now in stock on Noveske's site.

Who is a reputable cerakote applicator for doing a lower? I believe the correct way to do this is etch (not blast to bare metal) and coat over the anodizing?

Okay, cool. They were actually my first thought to contact but figured I'd ask. Thank you.

Stumbled across this video of a DEVGRU vehicle interdiction from 2019. The operator with the helmet cam is using a pretty weird-looking 416 with an Inforce light.

First I’ve seen in dev but I haven’t seen everything. |

It’s the standard Midwest rail (again really common with dev) and a standard AAC 51T flash hider on 14.5” barrel. Leupold CQBSS & NGAL. What does bum me out is I believe this is the second time we’ve seen the insight MRDS mount in 34mm on their guns and to my knowledge none of those have popped out into civilian hands yet. Which could either mean they were contract only, or modified 30mm versions… |
