Since we can't choose SPR, I would like to have a SAM-R clone in 6.8. 20" medium to heavy profile barrel, floated with either a KAC or DD forend, of course the KAC front flip sight/gas block (the one us civvies aren't allowed to have
) would be the preferred sight/gas block, but I guess I'd have to settle for the PRI or the standard FSB would be more than adequate in this application. Preferred optics (for me) would be a Leupold MR/T of some type. I might even go to a Leupold LR/T bridged across the gap between the receiver and float tube, probably 4.5-14X for longer range use.
But then I would need a CQB setup, so I'd probably want a 16", non-M4 profile, gov't to medium profile midlength barrel, floated with either a KAC or DD midlength tube. Standard FSB would be adequate here also. Aimpoint for optics.
Just like pcurtis's rifle! That one is SCHWEEEEEEEEEEEEET!
