Seriously man.  Ive been trying to get my hands on one for a month now. The last batch of middies sold out in under 2 hours.

Thanks for making it that much harder.....

J/K.   Nice rifle.  I hope to have a BCM upper ASAP.

Man I got soo lucky.

After months of reserach, I settled on a BCM 16" mid-length upper to pair with my AA lower.  Went to the website and ordered.

I didn't realize I hit the website during the 2 hr. period in which they were availalble!  Had mine in 4 business days!   Got on a wait list for a BCM Bolt Carrier Group and it came in 2 days later!

Couldn't be more pleased with how my rifle turned out!

My just-plain-fun gun, assembled right before the panic-buying began.  Still left to do:

- Remove the sling swivel from the gas block.
- Get a rail-mounted sling attachment and sling (one of the "V" models, no doubt).
- Hang a Surefire on it.
- Wait for my Burris Xtreme scope rings to ship from Optics Planet.

The black purse in the background isn't mine, but it does match fabulously

in this picture, what is the little, rectangular thingy attached to the rear setion of the collapsable stock? attached just below the buffer tube area, looks to be secured with 2 screws.

I got mine just four days ago and have posted elsewhere, but certainly don't want to be left out of the official thread.

I believe that device on Lancelot's stock is a GG&G Sling Thing.

When're the 14.5" M4 barrels coming?

Have thee considered making SOCOM profile barrels?  I betcha a proper SOCOM barrel'd do real well, instead of the absurd premium the Colt barrels go for, inflated by the "cool" factor (this is coming from a confirmed Colt Kool-Aid drinker and RO921HB barrel owner )

I'd post a pic, but I'm still waiting on the 14.5" M4s!

When I asked the same question about the 14.5 M4 uppers I was told approx spring/summer '09.  Totally worth waiting for...

I got lucky and got an unfired middie upper locally, its waiting in the box for me to finish the build, so consider this a space saver.
