WW2 British India contract Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knife for sale. This is one of the 2500 from the initial December 1943 order for the CBI theater of combat and the blades are actually 2nd edition hand ground by Wilkinson Sword and mated to the 3rd edition ringed handles. Knife is in VG condition, very sharp, handle itself is in great condition, sheath needs new elastic retaining strap. Has Broadarrow acceptance stamp with an I for the Ishapore contract. All info above can be verified with a quick Google search. I also have screenshots of the info. These are NOT Indian made like later contracts, these are British made for India during WW2.

This knife was given to me in 1982 and has been around the world with me in my Marine Corps career... Last deployment was the first Gulf War. It's been hanging on my wall ever since I retired and I figured it was time to let someone else appreciate it.
