So I received a use Mathew’s Switchback bow. It’s old and will need new strings and tune but it is in great condition.
Do you think it’s worth investing money into the Mathew’s or would I be better off buying a new bow? The mew bears look like a great value.
Thanks.

$100 for new strings and $30 for a tune. Probably another $ 400 on arrows, release stab , quiver, target bag ….ext
Shoot it
if you like it keep it for a hunt rig and invest in a 3D / target rig .

Switchback is a great bow, Is it the XT version ?
The wheel hasn't been re invented since its release.
I would just re string it .
ETA: That bow was going for 12-1500$ when it was released.
