How are you liking that M4 steel?

I have a bunch of knives in a lot of different steels but not M4 so i'm not familiar with it, rc hardness, edge retention, toughness etc.

I like M4 a lot, I prefer tool steels over high carbon steels when not using stainless steels. M4 is great on edge retention and toughness, I believe these are heat treated 60-61 HRC. It really eats up belts after heat treat but I think it’s worth it. It’s great steel for kitchen knives too.
