I need to replace the factory shocks on a 2001 Chevy Silverado Z71 off road package that looks to be in really good shape considering it's vintage. The shocks have started to leak oil and I'm sure their nitrogen charge is shot. Seems like the Rancho shocks don't have the best rep, so I was looking at going to the Bilstein's. Any good sources for deals on Bilstein shocks? Any better options worth considering?

I've put Bilsteins on a 2003 Suburban Z71 and 05 Tahoe Z71, working great on both of them still. We're just on road, not rock crawling.

Thank you for the replies on moving forward with the Bilstein's. I did price them at RockAuto and after shipping, it's about $400 for the set. Anyone have a better source for the best pricing?

I put Bilstein 5100s on my F150. Been happy with them. Got them from Rock Auto.
