You know, the equipment I've actually used over the 27 years of LE. The two jobs (LE and military) share very little in common. The MOLLE vest is good because of all the crazy shit they want to hang off of us (cameras, IFAK, admin stuff, etc.). Other than that, I agree with you. Also important to remember that the bad guys often have the same or better weapons (AR, AK, etc.) that people on this board have. Plus things like switches. It ain't Mayberry anymore. Scenes with over a hundred shell casings aren't unusual anymore. Sometimes thoe rounds are coming at us. |
