Kid has skills.

But like basketball players now needs to work on his dribbling and not carry.

Kid is a great player.

But Larry Bird?  I mean, maybe--that'd be awesome.  But it's just a highlight reel (which was great).  He didn't look tall for his age.  And what are his stats?  Team record?  League average?

I think I saw more Steve Nash then Larry Bird anyway.

I am so bad at basketball, if you made me 20 again I seriously think that kid would beat me.

I once tried 10 free throws, missed all 10. There was a guy there who said no way I was that bad, bet me 10 bucks ( 30 years ago ) that I would make at least one if I tried. I missed all 10 again, thank God he made it a one way bet.

Most people do not realize how good Bird was.
Could shoot,defend and pass.

Not many knew he had broke his hand and it was messed up.

Wish he had not hurt his back and his heels.

I hate to be the party pooper…but….no

He’s got great skills for his age.  But you can already tell he’s not going to be over 6 feet tall.   He will be great for the next 5 years.  Then his peers will continue to grow, will continue to develop, and he will then face off against competition that has the same skill set, but is half a foot taller than he is.

If he keeps at it, he’ll play low D1, or be great in D3.  And there is no shame in that.

But the next Larry Bird?  LOL no.   My son played basketball at the university of Florida, so I watched a LOT of youth basketball while he was growing up.  As he said, he’s better than 99.99% of people on this earth at basketball.  But he ran up against the other .01% in the SEC, so he’s going to medical school.  Truth.
