In case you were wondering, the deadline for filing for an August Special Election came and went with no filing.  I thought the "anti-gerrymandering" initiative might make the ballot, but apparently not enough valid signatures have been collected so far.

I believe that's a good thing, as I recall. Wasn't this a dem initiative to spread the big3 into more districts?

Yeah, pretty much, it would put more districts where there are more Democrat voters and fewer where there are more Republican voters.
