What is everybody doing for Mardi Gras? We live in Lafayette and have decided to leave town.
Used to love the Youngsville parade but getting to crowded.
Heading to Florida for a long weekend. Might make this an annual thing.

Last couple of years I've gone to Welsh.  They have a hybrid of the traditional chicken run, but its on floats that ride through the country.  I didn't make it this  year, but I heard it was muddy.  

KBON has been advertising a bunch of really good bands playing in Eunice the weekend before Mardi Gras, but I feel like it will be packed.  

One day I'd like to experience Mamou but I probably won't this year.
