I can't sleep and just had a visit from the dumb idea fairy. Idea the first, add an option to the wallet to make it thicker and more not-slim by adding Velcro to one (or both!) sides for a patch. This defeating the purpose and adding unnecessary bling at the same time.
Idea number B, like the belt magnet but with velcro instead of magnets (how do they work?)
In my sleepless haze I feel like I remember Stu? saying he hates patches. Hence my categorizing these as stupid. IB4 "thx I hate it" and "I award you no points" meme.
Ok, another stupid idea. Angled 5.56 pouch like the angled pistol pouch. Any draw speed or accessibility advantage to that? Maybe a single pouch on a cross draw just in front of the pistol holster. I'm saving up for a battle belt and just gaming out ideas. I know there's a horizontal pouch available.

I have limited real estate to work with but wanted 2 angled pistol mags, 2 rifle mags, and a dump pouch. Stu recommended I go with 1 rifle diaper mag behind the pistol mags and a horizontal rifle mag just forward of my Pistol holster.
It seems like a good working solution for me doing dryfire and reload drills so far. Everything is accessible and positioned intuitively. Before that I had tried 2 rifle mags on my left side behind the angled pistol mags but it put the dump pouch too far back and made using it awkward for me. I have a second setup with normal striaght pistol mags that allows me to fit everything on my left side and still use it but pulling pistol mags is a little slower.
Thanks for the insight. I'll probably end up learning more once I actually have it and can train with the belt. But that was an idea floating around that I needed to write out before I forgot.
