Used your contact us last week on your website but never received a reply. I recently purchased a gen 2 ak scope mount - mini acog.
At what should be the ideal tightness, the mount can slide back and forth about a 1/4" on the side rail. The next notch in adjustment and the mount slides about an 1/8". The mount locks solid after tightening the screw one more notch but now it is so tight I have to use a flat head to unlock the lever.
I really don't want to mess with anything now that I have everything loctited, mounted, and zeroed. My question is are there any long term issues with having the mount so tight on the rail? I know the instructions stated to have the mount at the lowest tension that locks the mount up.
