5 pairs of Mallards are back early this year, already paired and doing the courtship routine.
About 100 resident Canada geese are here every day but no Quill Lake Canadas so far.

Spring is here, woodies are back!
Merganzers have been here about a week, along with our pair of Sandhills doing the mating dance in the meadow across river.

I have been seeing 4-5 pairs of mergansers on my pond for about month and a pair of wood ducks occasionally.
