Been using boat with this set-up for a few years. Fishing Thursday it had developed interference any time the TM was running, "except" when in jackrabbit speed. When TM was off or in J/R speed, HB screen was clear.

No link of any sort, just Map Card. Bow and console HB's run off their own battery. No interference between bow and console (which I shut-off when fishing).

Checked fuse in TM head (brown wire), was good. Checked cabling/wiring, no visible issue, same routing as it has been for past 5 years. Today I did a reset, and software update, but update said I was already on latest version.

I did have a battery disconnect fail Thursday AM, after putting in and readying to motor out into the lake, but I simply bypassed the switch (replacement on the way). Am fishing in  the AM, so will know more then.

Thoughts?


ETA: Both HBs came with the "pucks" already on them.

Whatever the problem was, it seems to be resolved. Maybe the reset did it?

Worked flawlessly today.
