Forgive my ignorance but what are the current options I should consider for a bipod that can pan and swivel?
Under $200 if possible?

In the Atlas line you would be wanting the PRS bipod... if you have never owned one before, the Atlas is about as good as it gets in rail mounted bipods..there are a few that may be slightly tricker/more Gucci/built for specific shooting programs, but overall for a handy, reasonably light, highly repeatable, yet compact bipod then the Atlas PRS bipod will work perfectly..

If you want even tricker, this guy builds  some neat pieces to work with Atlas bipods to really get the best out of them..worth the look anyways...You can buy the atlas bipod and his pieces together or just the pieces if you already have a atlas bipod...
