Tough choice today... who to watch? Liverpool? Villa?  West Ham?

Inter Milan fans or Trekkies in the house? Looks like Paramount wants to exploit you... following on from their TMNT, and Transformers offerings... Star Trek themed jerseys!!!

Ugly? Tragic? I should have watched Villa.

It was almost as though they didn't want to win... still, hitting the crossbar and the upright on the same shot is unlucky.

As much as I like watching as a neutral, I want Spurs to continue winning to keep ManU out of the Champions League.

Bus or plane, it will be a long quiet ride back to north London.

ETA:  Looking for a 10AM match to watch and I'm starting to agree with Joey Barton

WTF is going on today????

Rangers lose to Ross County... never happened before in the history of the club.

Liverpool lose to Palace???

Well I guess that puts some pressure on Arsenal.

Hard to believe a month ago we were on track for the freaking quad.  I can commiserate with Klopp when he said he needs a break from football...I think I could use one at this point too.

It ain't over until the final whistle blows... All it takes is a couple of injuries, or 115 FFP charges.

I feel like City will never pay a serious price for their financial misdeeds.  Meanwhile Everton might be charged into relegation!

They'll change the rules to a fine before City has to pay for anything... they have already pushed the hearing to late autumn 2024, which will no doubt be 2025. Then the inevitable appeals etc will make it 2026+

I did read that the attorney that City is using to represent them, Lord Pannick KC (king's counsel),  typically charges £5000 - £10,000 an hour... presumably that is without the rest of his staff.

Chequebook football at its finest.

Speaking of Everton, kickoff vs Chelsea in a few minutes.

ETA: Un-focking believable! Cole Palmer hattrick in less than 30 minutes.

Also, after Pep determined Palmer was surplus to requirements, he's tied with Earling Haaland for the EPL lead with 20 goals.

Both English teams are out of the Champions League.

ETA:  Looks like a 5th Champions League spot is gone, especially if Liverpool and West Ham are eliminated Thursday.

Shitty week for English clubs in Europe. The chances of the PL having a 5th UCL team next year is all but out the window. Italy and Germany are all but guaranteed to have 5 UCL teams next year.

That's gonna be a tough one for Chelsea fans... 5-0 to Arsenal.

Definitely worth watching if you can see a replay, was a great game by both sides, but really shows what happens if you let Arsenal play a passing game.

I remember seeing that kid during the broadcast and the commentary saying something about it. And I remember Graeme Le Saux saying at one point that it looked like a well-oiled machine against 11 individuals and I cannot think of a more accurate description of that match.

Poch is not the problem but he’ll end up being the sacrificial lamb.

Great result for the Gunners. If everything comes down to goal difference, they're all set.

Cole Palmer missed the game with illness. I don't think it would have affected the result, but avoided the clean sheet if he scored. Plus it would put Pep's reject ahead of City's golden boy in the goal race..
