They'll change the rules to a fine before City has to pay for anything... they have already pushed the hearing to late autumn 2024, which will no doubt be 2025. Then the inevitable appeals etc will make it 2026+ I did read that the attorney that City is using to represent them, Lord Pannick KC (king's counsel), typically charges £5000 - £10,000 an hour... presumably that is without the rest of his staff. Chequebook football at its finest. |

Definitely worth watching if you can see a replay, was a great game by both sides, but really shows what happens if you let Arsenal play a passing game. |
