Let alone I was shooting blaser aluminum 158gr in 7mph cross winds.
The only malfunction was occasionally getting rim lock in the mags but that’s a super easy fix to poke the rounds to reseat them.
It was absolutely hilarious to shoot suppressed but it had a weird 12” ish POI shift UP when adding the can.
The spec might be different in these .357 rifles, but the main receiver bolt torque in other M77 rifles is much much higher than what you are using. It’s not uncommon for them to be torqued low from the factory to keep the barrel free floating in the stock. If you can relieve the barrel channel and torque to spec there can sometimes be improved accuracy.
Economy of scale and inflation on top of a production run every 5+ years. I’m happy to pay it because I want one and they had one. The last run I saw was $900 or so back in 2015-16 ish.
Prices may drop when more are out, but it’s likely a limited 2-3000 gun run like normal.
Are factory wood stocks available to purchase? Otherwise, I’ll just get a Boyd’s stock…

They aren't exactly common. Boyds would likely be way cheaper and easier to deal with. I know I'm looking at it myself, but set up the way I want is almost $350 shipped on top of having to pillar and glass bed it once I get it.
