I bought a couple Bulgarian ak47 kits a while back with a couple brand new never installed Bulgarian ak47 barrels.

I am finally getting a Bulgarian ak47 kit professionally assembled on a milled CNC Warrior receiver using an original brand new and never installed Bulgarian barrel.  This one will have a fixed stock.

In the near future I will get the other one assembled as an under folder.

I can hardly wait.

How much is the build?

There was a time when you could get the milled receiver Bulgarian kits with the original uncut barrel and decent section of the receiver still intact for around $300, and Romanian donkey dick kits with original barrels for less than $100. AK salad days ended a long time ago, and now those kits sell for hefty price tags. I hope yours is worth the wait OP.

Assembled for $650ish/kit assembled  which includes parkerizing.  It may be a bit until the completion. I will post photos when I get it back.

About 7 years ago, in a time long past,
Kit was about $200/kit
Virgin Bulgarian barrel was about $200/barrel
CNC Russian fixed stock receiver was about $625.00
Compliance 3piece trigger group was about $30/pack
Compliance gas piston was about $10/piston
Recently purchased DDI under folder receiver was about $220

Thanks for the reply.  Sounds like an awesome project.

Should be a nice one when it’s completed. Bit tough to find a stock for a milled receiver at the moment.

If you didn't blue it, you blew it. Don't blow it.

It’s a pain to find a decent folder for the milled receiver ak47.

Nice - do you have russian slab sides to go with it?

Nope. I prefer 20 round magazines over the 30 round magazines due to the length. I like Hungarian tanker magazines.

I called the assembler and the kit should be getting assembled in the near future.  The back log of other jobs was almost caught up.  I can hardly wait to see how it looks when it's completed.

Called the guy on Friday and he said that he had my rifle in production and it should be ready in about 3 weeks.

Fingers are crossed at my house.

Well it’s taking much longer to get my kit assembled and ready for me to pick up. I am going to pick the receiver and parts up as is even if they are not assembled. I called and left a message for the guy to call me.

I really doubt that this business will rip me off because it’s got very good reviews. A year plus is a bit longer than I expected though. It’s supposed to be completed next week and I will post photos when I get it.

I should also add that the 2nd setup is a DDI milled under folding receiver that I am now contemplating selling. 😁

I am still waiting on my kits to be assembled, 2 years for the first kit and about 6 months on the 2nd kit.  I just texted the guy at Ashley firearms and asked for a firm date of completion or alternatively, I come by and retrieve the 2 kits, barrels, and receivers.  I am waiting to hear back.
