This is for those of you that work Saturdays and couldn't join us for the last meet and greet.

When: Rescheduled - TBD

Where: Caney Mountain unstaffed shooting range by Gainesville, MO

GPS Coordinates: 36.654296, -92.435781
Put those coordinates into google maps for directions.

Who's invited? All ARFCOM members, their friends, and family.

https://mdc.mo.gov/discover-nature/places/caney-mountain-conservation-area

What's the plan? We'll shoot for a bit then go have a late lunch or early dinner at Cookies Restaurant at the Theodosia Marina.
Cookies is your standard Ozark Fare. They have the best fried chicken and fried catfish around. Also good burgers, etc.

What to bring? Bug Spray, guns, ammo, eye / ear pro, paper targets, tape or a stapler, can someone grab a box of clay pigeons?
If you wanted to, you could bring a cooler with beer.

The range:

26th or 2nd are so far best for me. I’ll get back to you on an eatery idea.

I'm 100% open after the 23rd.

I'd like to meet up somewhere I could bring my oldest son, especially if we want to shoot afterwards.

The 26th works for me.

Question is - indoor range or outdoor? I've never shot at the Andy Dalton Range but recently took a Utah CCW Class from a fellow that is the range master there.

Andy Dalton is a great KD range, but the booths make it a bit hard to socialize.

Here's another option.

Y'all could drive out and meet me at the unstaffed Caney Mountain shooting range (Hwy 60 to Hwy 5) GPS coordinates:
36.654296, -92.435781

The range has 3 benches, with target stands / berms at 25yds, 50yds, and 100yds.

We can shoot whatever we want then go have a late lunch or early dinner at Cookies Restaurant at the Theodosia Marina. Then you can drive back to Hwy 65 on the scenic hilly curvy Hwy 160.

I say let's do it. It's about a 1 hour 45 minute drive from Springfield. I'm sure a few of you guys could car pool.

Does 1pm work for everyone?

Are there any church goers that would prefer a later start at 2pm?

I plan to bring my Glock 43X, Ruger SFAR, AR15 pistol, Zenith MP5, and maybe my suppressors. Along with tape and some paper targets.
The range frequently has free paper targets but no guarantee that they are available.

There is rain predicted Sunday. Rain passes through this area pretty fast.
If it's raining buckets at 1pm we can meet at the range and head back east to Cookies for lunch.

From there we can shoot at my neighbor's range. He has nicer setup than I have with 2 dueling trees and silhouette gongs. I just have swinging gongs on my range.

Surprise in-law visit this weekend. Unfortunately, that requires my presence.
