Passed overnight by 1 vote with little public debate or awareness. Maybe it will wake some folks up when then show up to cabelas hoping to pick up a new hunting rifle and get told to come back next week…

Washington is 10 days now. Doesn’t include the day you start the paperwork and doesn’t include weekends or holidays. So yeah. It’s going to be a while.

Waiting for all the "move to a free state" and "you voted for this" guys...

Damn wtf
Im over here mad when it takes 30 min for my background to clear |

72 hours wait will help make someone think twice before shooting someone

Quoted: Waiting for all the "move to a free state" and "you voted for this" guys... View Quote They'll be here soon enough. Maine was a top destination state last year. Most of the people voting for this shit weren't here 5 years ago. Collins, Mills, Carney and King get to show their true colors now. All so tiresome... |

When will enough be enough?
How much longer will traitorous law makers wipe their asses with the Bill of Rights? As long as no one stops them they’ll keep at it indefinitely I suppose… |

This could seriously impact the Kittery Trading Post's business.

7 day wait takes effect here on May 15th. Fucking little troll cunt governor is chipping away every session.

How many of you guys that are upset are donating to GOA, FPC and NAGR?
If you aren't you should be. |

I gave up my concealed license because we went to constitutional carry. But it's bigger benefit is that I didn't have to get a background check when purchasing a firearm. Now mind you I also have a TWIC card to access refineries with ports and I'm usually approved in seconds because I'm on a list.
Anyways, I end up shooting the shit with the guy that does my transfers for an hour and the check takes about 3 minutes. |

Even if all hunters were screwed all of opening weekend nothing would change. The few that care about gun rights are already awake. The rest are fine being told what to do. |

Sorry for all those folks. I walk in my LGS and walk out 15 min later with whatever gun I want.

All of the data collected by DoJ, CDC, etc regarding 'time-to-crime' shows what a waste of time these laws are...
Won't do a single bit of good. Doesn't help one fucking bit, these idiots got a gun control law in - that's all that matters to them. |

When I got out of the Army, they would have paid for me to move back to Maine. There were three main reasons I didn't do it: winter, the high cost of living, and blue state politics. That was 2002 and the writing was already on the wall. I definitely made the right choice to stay in Tennessee.

How is that going to work for Kittery Trading post? It used to be if you are in NH and you buy a handgun, you pay for it in Maine and then you follow the KTP guy over the bridge to NH to a almost vacant office and that's where they do the transfer.

Quoted: Quoted: Better than Alachua Co Fl. 5 day wait that doesn't include the day you make the purchase, the day you pick it up or weekends & holidays. So 8-10 days in reality. WTF? In Florida? If he hadn't gotten himself banned from GD, Miami_JBT could explain to you just how anti gun the FL Republican supermajority is and how they constantly pass gun control or refuse to even vote on pro gun measures. |

View Quote That transfer wouldn't be affected by Maine law, since the transfer actually occurs in NH. There's no wait requirement from one FFL to another. In this case, KTP would transfer it from their ME FFL to their NH FFL, who would then transfer it to the NH resident in accordance with Federal and NH laws. |

View Quote As a former FL resident I found NC gun laws are better than the Gunshine state. Florida Republicans are pretty anti gun vs what most folks believe. |
