I know zero about these, but I do have a question asked out of ignorance. If you have rifles chambered in each, is there a possible of a .300 Blackout/5.56 kaboom if you mixup ammo? Or is this a non-issue because they could never chamber one in the other?

I had the question posed to me and truthfully answered that have no idea. I also have no desire to own either.

Thanks.

I don't see how you could stuff the 500 in a 458 chamber without a really big F'ing hammer, and if you were able to get a 458 to fire in a 500 chamber the bullet would just rattle harmlessly down the pipe.

Nothing gonna blow up.  The bigger question is what is the likelihood of having both on a bench at the same time

That would take some doing to pull off

That's all I wanted to know, since again, I know nothing about them and have never seen either in person. I will report that to the person that asked me in the first place.
