Interested in the history of this mag. It’s aluminum with a green follower. USMC issue. Did Center Industries Corp rival Okay?

IME, they have either been mediocre or crap. Sloppy weld seams oversize dimensions.

Okay are worlds above.

CI had DoD contracts 20 years ago, at one point providing 50K M16/M4 mags a month.

Center Industries had contracts into Sep 2022 at least making the brown aluminum “enhanced” mags as well. The “brown” finish appears to be applied by dunking the mag in the finish and letting it drip dry.

I've had some that were quite chunky. Several that wouldn't drop free. PITA.
