I apologize ahead of time for the stupid question but I'm having some issues.

I just purchased two Modlite PLHv2 18350 lights with the Surefire UE caps and the Mod Button.  Unfortunately, when I screw the Surefire UE cap to the back of the Modlite body, the light comes on and there's no way to shut it off.  Am I missing something here?  The light and caps were purchased together, so I assumed they're compatible.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Sounds like there is a problem with the UE tailcap that it has a short inside that's closing the connection.  It's also the cheapest part in the mix so I would check and see if there's something jammed in the plug port possibly shorting the connection, or otherwise return it for replacement.

I had this issue with a UE and an OKW.

I cleaned the coil from factory and never ran in to the issue again.

Just did this and it fixed the issue with both caps.  I appreciate it.  Thanks!
