Not too long ago, I was at a local gun show and stumbled upon a booth with an interesting product. I wound up taking some home, but then kind of forgot about them. The idea was they were supposed to be for gear management, but without a specific use in mind, they just sat in the gear bin.
Well the other day I rediscovered them, and thought about trying them out for sling management on my rifles, particularly while in a safe. I'm very glad that I did, because it is an excellent use for them. Really great product, adjustable thick shock cord with an interesting two-piece center adjuster, they are pretty much perfect for the task. Pressing the middle button causes it to spring apart and completely get out of the way, allowing your sling to be utilized.
I wound up liking the few that I had so much, that I placed another order for a bunch of them so that each of my rifles would have one, and the owner even threw in some extras.
Excellent piece of gear, made locally here in PA. Just figured that I would share.
