I will need it to dial in this m-rod. But will use for pistol reloading data too. Any suggestions?

I have the competition electronics prochrono ltd and it's decent.
They have a bluetooth one that a little more expensive.
You don't always need the sunshades on it for it to work but you have to make sure you're shooting over both sensors.

It kinda depends on where you are using them. If it's on a public outdoor range, something you shoot through should be ok. As long as some jerk doesn't think it's a target. Commercial indoor, no. Have to check their rules, as there are always exceptions. If you own the range, whatever you like.

I've been waiting for the lottery to pay out so I can get a LabRadar or Garmin radar Chrono. A lot more info, and it doesn't have to sit downrange in the line of fire.

Magnetospeed attaches to the weapon and measures at the muzzle.

From what I read... Everything seems to have difficulty measuring airguns, either because they are sound triggered or the projectiles aren't big enough to be detected by the sensors. There are ways around those issues...

Find someone dumping one used cheap now that the Garmin has made pretty much everything else obsolete (I love mine).
