[Last Edit: CHRONOS45]
I need my 2011 race gun worked on. It needs a new comp and some other work done to it. I need a competent west coast gunsmith. Johnny at Limcat locally who I know personally will only work on his pistols. I need some recommendations for a moderate rebuild. New Comp, Stippled grip, maybe some mild slide machining, extractor fitted, new slide rack. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Wild west does alot of work for some local shooters. If you can't find anyone I'd give them a call, they are in vegas

My normal advice is to find a good smith and just ship it. I don't know if Gene Shuey is still doing work as he is getting up in age but he's local as well. Tussey has a 2021 price list which is weird because he died in 2020 but maybe someone else is keeping the shop open.

I'm pretty far out of the loop but if you know Johnny and crew I assume you know the local USPSA guys. I'd ask around with them to see if there is anyone else local.

Reach out to Eddie Garcia of EMG Customs

All the AZ guys swear by his work. He's an artist with a 2011.
