The Cowboys and Eagles currently have the exact same odds to win the Super Bowl, to win the NFC, to win the NFC East, and to make the playoffs.

I’ve never seen that before for two divisional teams.

Looks like they are scrimmaging with a high school team. Alt is 6'-8", that looks like more than half a foot difference in that pic.

Mailata is that height too, some of the clips with him and Boston Scott (5'6") are hilarious

Spoke about it previously, but ESPN made it official today. Jason Kelce joining MNF pregame crew.

Edit: Reportedly a multi-year deal. Pregame and halftime. Will also be involved with the 2027 Super Bowl shows (airing on ABC).

I’m optimistic.

I’m also extremely curious to see how Brady does.  I hope he’s great, but if he sucks a silver lining will be seeing what FOX does with him after they gave him a $375M/10 year deal.

It always cracks me up in the Netflix thread when you see men posting gushing reviews for tv shows made for romantically-starved women, but they start their glowing review off with a “my wife made me watch it” as if that somehow provides them absolution.

I’d rather hear about racist turtles than the WNBA.  It’s seems like pretty much every time I open the ESPN app they are autoplaying some WNBA shit in desperate attempt to make a league that’s been a joke for nearly 30 years finally become popular.

"Making the Jaguars play MULTIPLE international games?"

Shahid Khan has ties to England, he owns a Premier League soccer team there, and he loves taking the Jags there. There are longstanding rumors he would like to MOVE THE TEAM there.

This isn't the league office sticking it to a team and coercing them into doing something they don't want to do.

If Trent Baalke wasn't a fuckin idiot they'd be a perennial playoff team with incentives to play domestically instead of this overseas bullshit.

But because Trent Baalke is a fuckin idiot they have a mid af team that no one outside of Jacksonville really cares to watch.

You’re talking about the owner.  I’m talking about the players and coaches.

I seriously doubt they want to play multiple international games in back-to-back seasons.

The only people there that didn't choose the Jaguars organization are draft picks on rookie contract. Everyone else in the locker room and front office knew what Khan is all about and chose to be there anyways.

Don't sign with Green Bay if you don't like the cold.
Don't sign with Denver if you don't like thin mountain air.
And don't sign with Jacksonville if you don't like playing in England.

One international game a season, sure. They had to expect that.

However, one team playing multiple international games in back-to-back seasons is something that has never happened before so I’m not sure that’s a “it’s cold in Green Bay” level of obvious.

It’s kind of wild that Netflix paid for two Christmas games before they even knew what games they were going to get.

They could get Cowboys/Eagles.  They could get Raiders/Broncos.

One good game and one “eh” game (with the Super Bowl champs and one of the four flagship teams of the NFL) is certainly good for a two game deal.

I hope Ravens/Texans is in prime time because that’s likely the only way I’ll watch it on Christmas Day.  If it’s late afternoon, maybe the 2nd half.

Not to mention one game has two teams that are favored to win their divisions and the other game has a team that is favored to finish dead last in their division.

Still, it could be a good game.  Chiefs are currently only favored by 4.5.

Schrager has a good point here...

We have no idea who is going to working the broadcast crew for these Netflix games either in the booth calling the game or in the studio for pre-game and half time.

I wonder how they'll handle that.

Eh... he's the first overall pick, he got placed in a pretty loaded offense, and they still have him listed behind a RB, two old guys coming off major injuries that might never be good again, a cluster of good but not great QBs, and a couple of sophomores that show promise but aren't amazing.

That's not unreasonable.

Since it's Netflix there will have to be a tranny in the broadcast crew, at least 1.

Yep, thats right. KC & Steelers will win their divisions.   Texans with the sophomore slumping QB will be the one that's dead last, not the Ravens (because there's always the Browns or Bengals to get that honor).

He’s one spot behind CMC and he’s there as a sucker bet hoping the hype will reel in a few.

Though he does a decent shot at being the first Bears’ QB in history to throw for 4,000 yards in a season.
