Just scored this sweet 2022 Ranger RT188 with just 1 hour of runtime on it. Can’t wait to get to fishing!

Hells yeah.
We had a bass boat when I was a kid and had a great time with it. Fished, water skied, shot carp, our family was in it all summer. My dad was getting into salmon and steelhead fishing and bought a duck worth a few years ago. He passed away this summer and the boat came down to me. I can’t wait to take my brother out and slay some springers with it. Boats are money pits but worth it. |

Congrats! Money pit? Nah. That engine is very easy and cheap to maintain
especially if you DIY. Use only non-ethanol fuel in it and you won't have any issues with fuel system corrosion if it sits for long periods. |

That's awesome! Hope it treats you well. Boats are incredibly fun, and can suck the life out of you. I'm currently having mine converted from a Volvo inboard to a twin Yamaha outboard. It's going to sting!

Being I bought it brand new (1 hour on it) I don’t anticipate having any problems for quite awhile.
I do my own maintenance and repairs also. Had a good time taking it out for the first time. Little tricky backing it down the steep ramp but got it figured out on the 4th try 😂😂 |

Nice. We need a boating thread in the outdoors section. Enjoy it. Love my boat.

Why did they sell it after only 1hr on the water?

Everybody knows you've been steppin' on my toes and I'm gettin' pretty tired of it...

Registration stickers weren’t ever put on the boat. Some of that one hour was likely the dealership running it too. I found this at a cycle center a couple hours away. They sell a few boats here and there. The owner of this dealer gets leads occasionally on repo units he goes and takes. It’s sat outside for a bit so I’ve got to clean the carpet this week. Otherwise this thing is mint! Brand new. I put 2 hours on it running around Friday. |

Nice rig. I see about another $5-7k in electronics upgrades in your future. Ask me how I know.

Nice! No fish will stand a chance
Are the two units connected? It's nice being able to be at the helm, see something on the graph, mark it and also see the mark on the bow unit when you get up there to work whatever it is you saw. A unit controlled trolling motor takes it to a whole other level, like a Terrova or Ultrex |

I’ve been watching a guy on YouTube about setup, settings, and a little about use to find fish. All new to me so it’ll take some time. I’ll need to take out a bank truck to afford a better trolling motor 😂 |
