![]() Think this is the first SBS S12. When filing my F1 they didn’t have the model in the system so it took a while to get approved. 11” barrel is perfect if anyone else is considering this. So far reliable with high brass shells and standard low recoil 00 buck. Bird shot is not reliable. Will get another gas plug and have it milled down. ![]() |

Finally got my stamp (police factory SBS) and somehow had a 10" barrel lying around thanks to someone here. I haven't shot it yet but it's already almost my favorite gun just from how cute and handy it is. Originally I was planning to replace with a conventional stock to keep it really slick, but the pistol grip might even be growing on me. It's within 1/2"of taking the 4th shell in the tube. I might investigate a tiny spacer to get that 4th round if that little extra length would mean a big increase in capacity. Need to get it set up for ghost loading, all my other M1S90 are ancient so I kind of forgot that Benelli marked ones don't allow that without a mod. Anyways, super pumped.

First side by side SBS just finished.
I wound up with this free jw2000 and for that price the best thing to do with it was cut it up. 8 inches off the muzzle and 6 inches off the stock. I then cut this 1/4 inch brass plate on a bandsaw to make a buttplate and reinstalled the bead. ![]() |

To be honest, I don't really like shooting with it. I like stick mags better. Magpul Zhukov fixed stock with a Limbsaver on the end. I can shoot this sucker wearing nothing but a grin and a T-shirt. Just added the Arsenal forearm retainer (that thing is built much better than the pictures online show) which holds an old Tapco forearm I had in my parts box. I think it looks perfect on this. It matches the goofy SAW pistol grip just by coincidence. RAM front sight. I'm gonna leave the rear sight stock even though the kit includes a big huge rear sight. CSS adjustable gas plug. Filled the numbers in with a white crayon, I ain't fancy. Special thanks again to Anthony at Evlutionz. Could not be happier! View Quote That is an awesome SBS. How about the color. Is that Midnight Blue Cerekote? Whatever it is, it looks great. |
