It came out this weekend and I'm going out here soon to see it if noone has anything bad to say about it other than ED Harris is in it which is a great actor but not a Conservative. Plus Viggo Mortensen is in it and he's was raised by hippy parents.

Yeah, I'm interested too...

While I like Ed Harris as an actor, I don't really know his politics...but after watching the "Making of" on Enemy At The Gates...I know he is a dumb ass when it comes to WWII history.

He kept refering to his character, Major Koenig as Waffen SS....when he was clearly a Heer Gebirgsjager from his uniform...so much for research...

Viggo...again, not sure of his politics, but he was cool in GI Jane (for a dumb movie), and I guess when he was filming LOTR, we would go everywhere in Wellington with his sword....and he likes to fly fish...

TheMovieSpoiler has a thorough description of the movie. . .sounds pretty decent.

I found that site quite awhile back, but I'm the kind of guy who likes to know if something is worth the money before spending it. . .hence my desire to know what the movie is about before going to see it.

I saw it yesterday and wouldn't bother with it IMO. Definitley a rental but wasnt worth sitting in the theater for 2 hours or so. Only thing i can think of to describe it is SLOW.

They're ACTORS.. if it's a good movie, who cares if they were raised by a pack of wolves?

Agreed..to a point.  Remeber Lethal Weapon 4 (yes, yes,we're all trying to forget it...) and the "BAN THE NRA" posters all over the police department in the background?

I think they're referring to annoying liberal mind control often put forth by Hollywood elites in their movies....oh sorry..their art!!

The funny thing is, I wasn't really into guns when that movie came out, so it flew right over my head. Now when I watch it, it pops right out at me and annoys me, but I'm not there to see Mel Gibson and Danny Glover, I'm there to watch the hilarious hijinx of Riggs and Murtaugh. If the movie provides the entertainment I want, that's all I'm there for.

I just got done watching Sin City for the first time, which is one of the most amazing films I've seen in a while, with an *outstanding* cast.. but I'd wager 75% of them have politics I disagree with. That's their business.

Im wit 'cha.

I LOVE movies and completed part of my basement with an InFocus 4805 projector, surround-sound (Sony, Polk Audio, etc..), HEAVILY insulated ceiling, and a 109" movie screen because I LOVE movies.  I am trying to get past the lib tendancies of most Hollywood persons..it is a constant struggle when those vapid morons spew their lib-speak of mislead and confused commentaries!!

Saw it on Friday. Good movie for the first 45 minutes, then turns into a steaming pile of shit shortly thereafter.

I just got back from watching it have to say it was good. But I can't believe the endings in movies today. I guess you can take it as they lived happily ever after, but come on give me something at the end of these movies. I'm glad I went and seen it. Had some good scenes.

I loved the cheerleading scene

Saw it today.  Roboman pretty much nailed it.  I would not pay actual money to go see it.

Ed Harris is a hard core leftist scumbag.  One of the directors or actors (forget which) who was involved in giving the government names of active communists in Hollywood during the 30's and 40's was getting a lifetime achievement award in the early 90's, and Harris, scumbag that he is, helped lead a "turn your backs to him" mini-protest.

After Ed's anti-Bush speech, I'll be damned if I'll add to his ticket sales
